Mixing Bowl Fun

Matthew’s quickly-advancing motor skills and increased mobility have definitely brought some new challenges.  I am overdue for a post demonstrating all of his new skills . . . he’s just so hard to keep up with these days!
Whenever Matthew is awake, he is in a constant “seek and destroy” mode.  He spends his day knocking [...]

Wordless Wednesday

Again, not exactly “wordless,” but a good excuse to share some pictures anyway!
It took 3 tries to get our family Christmas picture this year!  The third time we put on our dressy clothes and tried to get two squirmy boys to smile for the camera, we got one good enough for the Christmas cards.  It [...]

Update

Matthew still isn’t feeling his best, but at least he is able to sleep at night now. He is still fighting the ear infections, and has developed a nasty cough to go with them. He’s been wheezing a bit, so he’s getting nebulizer treatments, too. He loves the vibration of the air compressor, and sometimes [...]

Another ER visit

Yesterday, Matthew was, for the most part, his usual happy, playful self.  He was less interested in solid food than usual, but I attributed that to the busyness of our day yesterday.  We hosted another “interview dinner” for Aaron’s work, so my day was filled with preparations, and the evening was full of excitement with our [...]
